Bryony Weiss
PRODUCER |
Bryony is the immediate past president of the Sydney University Dramatic Society, and has been actively involved in the Sydney theatre scene for a number of years. Throughout her time at SUDS, she has produced over 20 shows; including Nick Coyle's *The October Sapphire* at the TAP Gallery, which later went on to tour to the New York Fringe Festival. Bryony's interests also extend to directing, and she directed a production of Don DeLillo's *Valparaiso* in the Cellar Theatre in 2006. |
Cait Harris

Cait has worked as a writer, director, performer and editor of both theatre and film in Los Angeles and Sydney. Over the past several years, Cait has focused mainly on theatre, incorporating improvisation, music and movement with script… which she loves! |
Zoe Norton Lodge
DIRECTOR |
Zoe Norton Lodge is a co-founder of BB and co-writer and director of our first show Persephone's Wolf. Zoe has acted in many productions, including 11 in the last few years put on by the SUDS with roles such as the Duchess of Gloucester in Shakespeare's Richard II and Hannah in Tom Stoppard's Arcadia. More recently Zoe has been involved in collaborative, experimental projects as a writer, director and actor. In these projects improvisation, soundscape, movement and music have played key roles creating wholly new works. |
Vanessa Hughes

Vanessa is a filmmaker and new media maker. Her films include Childsplay, Walkabout, and many many endless works in progress. Her documentary footage has been aired on the ABC, and in 2006 her online documentary Six Somersaults was exhibited at the Australian Centre for the Moving Image. |
Tim Spencer
PRODUCTION ASSISTANT |
Tim Spencer has been pursuing his passion for the theatre with zest and gusto. In the past five years he has written, directed and performed in numerous productions for Sydney University Dramatic Society and other independent theatre companies in Sydney, the most recent being the smash hit The Genealogy of Victorian Birds. He has also been spending his time developing interests in photography, animation and video production. |
Simon Greiner
SET DESIGN |
Simon is a performer and puppeteer. He has appeared on stage at: the New York Fringe Festival ("October Sapphire"); Melbourne International Comedy Festival ("Stragelove the Musical"); the Tap Gallery ("October Sapphire"); Carriage Works ("Parties 4 Eva- Underbelly"); Belvoir St and Enmore Theatres (Cranston Cup Theatresports), as well many productions with SUDS at the Seymour Centre and Cellar Theatre. He is also a designer, illustrator and puppet maker. He was raised by gentle apes in a secluded leafy glen. His ape parents are very proud. |
Edan Lacey
SET DESIGN

Edan Lacey studied Psychology and Philosophy at The University of Sydney, graduating in 2006. Edan has studied acting at NIDA’s Open Program and The New Actors Workshop N.Y.C. He has performed extensively as an improviser, actor and radio presenter and is one half of comedy duo Pumpernickel and Wry. |
Clare Maclean

Clare has recently completed her final collecton after finished a Fashion Design Degree at UTS. She has always had a strong interest in theatre. |
Miles Thomas
LIGHTING DESIGN |
Last year Miles was production coordinator for the Paris Opera Ballet's Sydney tour and toured to Melbourne Comedy festival as producer and Lighting Designer for
STRANGELOVE: THE MUSICAL. Previously he has worked in a wide range of production roles for shows including WOOMERA and WOYECK at the Old Fitzroy Hotel Theatre and INTO THE WOODS (SUDS). Over the past few years he has also worked as a Lighting Technician and Head Electrician for Sydney Theatre Company, The Seymour Centre and The Capitol Theatre.
First joining Griffin in their 2007 season, Miles production managed THE NIGHTWATCHMAN, OCTOBER, THE STORY OF THE MIRACLES AT COOKIE’S TABLE and KING TIDE. |
Chris Cheers
TECHNICAL ADVISOR |
Chris Cheers has spent years designing and operating lights with the Sydney University Dramatic Society and risking his life teching in amateur theatres throughout Sydney. Chris is relishing the experience to work in the incredible space CarriageWorks provides and to work with such a creative and innovative production company. Chris is also a pretty formidable Karaoke contender, with a speciality in Disney, David Bowie and Tina Turner. |
Emily Irvine
MUSIC |
Emily Irvine is a musician, singer and actor studying Music and Education at UNSW. She has been playing the violin since age 5 and has sung professionally with several groups. She has been in about 15 plays - most recently starring in the role Mary Flynn in Sondheim's Merrily We Roll Along. |
Mark Sutton
MUSIC |
Over the past several years Mark has been involved in many shows, in varying capacities. Including directing *Richard 11* (SUDS, 2005), and co-writing and directing both*The Sydney University Arts Revue* (2006)* and Strangelove! The Musical* (Melbourne Comedy Festival, 2007). He is excited about being involved in *Persephone's Wolf* as a composer and instrumentalist. |
