Cait and I have found in the past, that if we've not been sure what should happen next, a great help can be to just get up and do it. It is even better when we can get other people to get up and do it while we just sort of sit there. This week has been impro week. With characters slowly starting to attach themselves to certain humans, and with some sense of what was to happen, we begun to wade through the murky waters of our plot, seeing if characters would sort of create themselves and meet other characters and do interesting things.

This week was the first time Cait and I got a sense that our characters were beginning to grow little fatty beating hearts. I think it has been a good week for the cast too who are slowly seeing those first special glimpses of sense and who have thrown themselves into some hamhanded un-thought through impros and then some genius one's such as 'Ok Blake, now you unbind your tail, and as you do you slowly morph into your night time self and splash water from the toilet in your office everywhere, and the other 6 of you are back up dancers - back up dancers all copy Trent'.

We are going to try to do a very crude ugly run through of the show on Saturday which will be some impros, some script, some singing and some movement, all bound up with sitcky tape and bubblegum. The cast don't know this yet. I really don't think they read this blog either...
