Tomorrow night, Babaret celebartes a year of wonderful cabaret in MOONSHINE BABARET: THE BEST OF BABARET.
‘The Best of Babaret’ is a collection of the most tantalising performances from Bambina Borracha Production’s monthly cabaret evening ‘Moonshine Babaret’. Come and join Sydney’s most unhinged talent as they shake up the University of Sydney Verge Arts Festival Bar from 8pm on September 3rd.
The performance features All Saints and It Takes Two star Virginia Gay along with Cuthbert and the Nightwalkers lead singer Richie Cuthbert.
The ancient arts of singing, dancing, mime, drag and ukulele come together in various bite-sized performances, each with a super creamy centre.
For one night only the very best performers of the Babaret season jostle for the spotlight as they help you fall in love, unravel the mysteries of the universe, scrape you up off the floor and mould you into something that could pass for a human being again.
‘The Best of Babaret’ is part of the University Sydney Union’s Verge Arts Festival. The festival runs from the 1st to the 14th of September. It seeks to promote a meaningful and continuous collaboration between the University and broader community with a focus on unique, unconventional and innovative artistic endeavours.
